Inflo Software Scoops Exporter of the Year Award

UK-based Inflo Software has received its second award in 3 weeks at the Sunderland Echo Portfolio Awards when it won the Exporter of the Year award on 26th October.

Following on from winning the accounting innovation of the year earlier in October, the Exporter of the Year Award adds recognition for the hard work that Inflo is doing within the industry. Mark Edmondson, chief executive officer at Inflo said: “We are delighted to have won this award – it shows that the work we are doing is being recognised not only for the innovation we are bringing to the accountancy world, but that our products can easily be used in markets across the world. This gives Inflo a massive opportunity to build on our success and continue to drive innovation in the accountancy profession worldwide.”

Inflo allows firms to use data driven accountancy to add value for every engagement they have and improve the accuracy, speed and overall experience which builds stronger, more valuable relationships with their clients. Mark added: “Data Analytics is growing at a phenomenal rate as it allows accountancy firms to provide a much higher value service to their clients. By analysing core data and providing valuable information about the company, a greater client experience is achieved. It allows firms to perform accounting functions in seconds that previously would not have been viable.”

When it comes to Data Analytics, the need to be constantly innovating is paramount. Graham Clark, chief operating officer for Inflo said: “We are in a unique position when it comes to providing an end-to-end data analytics solution for the accountancy profession. However, we can never rest on our laurels as the technology is ever moving – as such, we need to be proactive to develop new products and build in new technologies as they happen, such as artificial intelligence. We have invested heavily in our in-house development team – this ensures we can be reactive to client requests and proactive in keeping ahead of the curve when it comes to new technologies and providing new products.”

With a real momentum growing for data analytics in the profession, Inflo is ready to step up and continue to deliver their award-winning solutions across the accountancy world.

The health and safety of our employees is of utmost importance to us. Based on government advice, we have decided to activate our Business Continuity Plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This means that for a while, all of our employees will be performing their roles from home.

We’ve always taken Business Continuity very seriously and we regularly assess our measures as required by ISO27001. From the start, we designed Inflo to be flexible and agile – both as an employer to our people and as a partner to our customers. All of our employees use laptops, many usually work from remote locations, and our comprehensive security measures work just as well wherever our employees are located.

The servers that run our application and hold your data are managed by our trusted partner, Microsoft Azure. Our superusers operate this infrastructure remotely under normal circumstances, so we’re used to doing this and won’t need to operate any differently during this crisis.

In summary, while some of us here at Inflo are going to work slightly differently behind the scenes for a while, you can rely on Inflo to operate just as well as we always do.
